I’m very smart, handsome and probably the funniest and nicest guy you’ll ever know. Also I’m very humble.
Ok. So I study informatics in Oslo, going on my 4th year now and specializing in distributed systems and networks with a dab of semantic technologies.
My early years were spent in kindergarten, then my family moved to Luxembourg and I went to the European School for some years. We returned to Norway in 2000-and-something to find the place exactly as we left it, which was kinda boring, so I ditched it and went to Red Cross Nordic United World College on the rainy west coast. Returning after two years I found myself a changed man and promptly returned to the kindergarten. I worked there for a year making money and building characters (out of lego and playdoh). Finally I moved on and started studying informatics at the uni in Oslo. Which is where I am at right now.
During the years I’ve built up a skill set like none other. I’m proud to state that I can walk and eat at the same time. I can also take awesome photos, run halfway around Sognsvann and program in Assembly. I also know C, Java, SQL, ORM, OWL, RDF, SPARQL and a bunch of other acronyms.
Hi!
Today a coyear of mine posted a link to your blog on Facebook, and as a recently graduated RCN student, I just wanted to thank you for your photos, especially the panoramas. It feels just like being there on a normal cloudy school day, and in this summer “in between”, right after saying goodbye to Flekke and everything that happened there, it is great to see that the place didn’t disintegrate after we left! ๐ I’ll also show it to family and friends here, who couldn’t come to visit, and maybe they’ll see why we all ended up so in love with our fiord.
Cheers from Spain,
Lea
Iยดd like to second Lea (above comment) and thank you for the beautiful pictures of RCN. Made me feel very nostalgic! ๐
Hugs from Brazil,
Nina
